Now that you’ve picked your jaw up off the ground, yes, that’s right… finally another journal entry. I find that I only write in this thing when two things happen: 1) I have time and 2) it’s easy to do. Neither of those have really been happening.
Time itself is an issue that you can somewhat control. Instead of watching a show sit down to write in the journal, you know… that kind of thing. The “it being easy to do” part comes from just being able to open a program and quickly and easily crank something out. After I upgraded HomeSite I wasn’t able to do that because they took the “Design” WYSIWYG feature away (for the record, I only use WYSIWYG for this journal… other then that it’s nothing but text editing). Being lazy and not just being able to type as though it is a word processor is a bad thing.
Little did I know that I’ve actually got FrontPage on this machine as well so I can type these things now all I want again. Let’s see how good I am about time…
Did I Say Something about VD?
Looking at the calendar I suddenly realized that Valentine’s Day is only one week away. I could swear that it was just New Year’s yesterday. I can never understand where all of the time goes.
So this year once again I find myself owndering what I am going to do for my Honey on the 14th of February. I don’t really like taking the easy way out and just getting a gift. I really prefer to try to do something special. A CD doesn’t pack the same kind of punch that a night of pampering does, you dig?
So now I sit here and roll my brain around in this oversized bucket I call my head trying to think of something that I’d really like to do for my wife. Cross your fingers for me and hope that I actually come up with something good.
