For the first time in over six years I can say that I weigh less than 290 pounds. I have been maintaining for a while without doing a lot of exercise so I have been waiting and ready for this. I can’t believe the prime motivator in change has been a “video game.” Thank EA Sports for making Active. Having something so convenient at home has really made all the difference in getting away from excuses and once again seeing results. (And thank you ME for only having one slice last night!)
This mornin was the workout after my day of rest and once again my EA Sports Active made me chuckle. The intro to today said that we would be focusing on upper body strength which lead promptly into two different types of lunges. The other exercises really were very upper body oriented and I know that engaging the leg muscles helps to burn calories since they are the largest muslce groups but it still made me chuckle.
I have really noticed a difference in my workout approach in relation to how much time I have for my workout. Today I woke up a little bit earlier than I have been and I was a lot more patient in doing my workout. The closer the clock got to 7 am, however, the more irritable I was getting. I really need to be up and exercising around 6:00 am. It’s the only way I will have a competely stress free and focused workout I think.
